The Ohio Management Group was created by a group of individuals from the Society for Advancement of Management. This group of premiere business students saw a need for the re-birth of a management organization at Ohio University. Through hard work, and creating relationships with departments across campus, the Ohio Management Group was born.

OMG is a working model of a real business organization, and you will get hands-on experience making it work! Organization activities will help you develop a wide array of managerial and leadership skills such as: goal setting, planning, organizing, controlling, project management, scheduling, prioritizing, budgeting, advertising, marketing, public relations, selling, fund raising, and running productive meetings.

The Organization:

· Gives you a personal introduction to the practicing managers in your local and professional community.
· Helps students create the networking skills they will need to succeed in life

The Ohio Management Group is dedicated to enriching Ohio students in managerial and leadership concepts, ideals, and skills in order to better their future careers.

The Ohio Management Group envisions the collaborating and contributing of ideas from students in order to build the signature leadership and management student organization at Ohio University.
